# What You Need:
→ Probiotic Base
01 - 4 cups filtered water
02 - 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons water kefir grains or ginger bug
04 - 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
→ Flavoring
05 - 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
06 - 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
07 - 8 fresh mint leaves
08 - 4 thin orange slices
09 - Ice cubes, as needed for serving
# Directions:
01 - Combine filtered water and organic cane sugar in a large clean glass jar, stirring to dissolve sugar completely. Add water kefir grains or ginger bug and fresh lemon juice, mixing gently with a non-metallic spoon.
02 - Cover the jar with a breathable cloth or coffee filter, secure with a rubber band. Allow to ferment at room temperature (68–77°F) for 24 to 48 hours until the liquid develops a mild fizz and tang.
03 - Remove water kefir grains or ginger bug using a fine mesh strainer. Discard or reserve the cultures for future fermentations.
04 - In a pitcher, blend the fermented probiotic soda base with fresh orange juice, lime juice, and mint leaves. Stir gently to combine aromas and flavors.
05 - Fill serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the mocktail over the ice and top each portion with a thin orange slice and additional mint leaves as desired.
06 - Serve without delay to preserve optimal carbonation and freshness.
